My journey as a musician began when my parents enrolled me in piano lessons with the neighborhood piano teacher at the age of 4. I studied piano and stringed instruments, theory, and choral singing throughout my childhood and teen years. My interest for music led me to years of private study with emphasis on classical and popular genres. I participated in many solo recitals and competitions, and playing at weddings, special events, and church. After high school, I attended the University of Colorado majoring in piano performance and accounting. I began teaching at Allegro when I was 16 and have enjoyed my time here immensely.

I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities, and specialize in piano, violin, viola, and cello. My teaching method focuses on correct posture and technique, theory, sight reading, ear training and mostly, enjoying learning about music!
